Sharon Lee Hayward, age 72, of Brown City, passed away peacefully, Saturday, June 30, 2018 at home surrounded by family.

She was born November 14, 1945 in North Branch, daughter of Walter and Hazel (Hoffman) Brace. Sharon grew up in North Branch and attended North Branch Schools. She married Ronald Hayward April 4, 1970 in Brown City. Sharon loved spending time with family and friends. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, crocheting and needle point.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Ronald K. Hayward of Brown City; two daughters, Royleen Chase (James W.) Essad of Sandusky, and Renee L. Hayward of Maybee; one son, Michael A. (Kathrine) Chase of Brown City; two sisters, Helen Fraga of Rochester Hills, and Dorothy Mahaffy of Sandusky; one brother, Russell Brace of Brown City; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and beloved Yorkie, Dora.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Brenda L. Lippertt; parents, Walter and Hazel Brace; one brother, Walter Brace; and grandparents, Peter and Mina Hoffman.
