Marlette hospital, police drill Friday

MARLETTE — Marlette Regional Hospital will team up with the Marlette Police Department on Friday, May 18 for a mock drill to assess readiness in the event of an active shooter.

To have a realistic environment, the time of the drill will not be released to staff or the public. Signage will be posted at the entrance doors and there will be personal notification to patients and visitors in the building at the time of the event.

Observers will be throughout the facility monitoring the actions and a debriefing will be held at the conclusion of the drill.

Marlette Regional Hospital regularly participates in drills and exercises to help prepare for emergency situations.
