Eva B. Binder, of Davison, formerly of Deckerville, age 86, passed away Sunday June 4, 2017, at Genesys Regional Hospital, Grand Blanc after a short illness. A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Wednesday June 7, 2017 at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 6434 Richfield Road, Flint. Pastor Jack Dowden officiated, with burial in Greenwood Cemetery in Sandusky.

Eva was born in Crab Orchard, Kentucky on December 5, 1930, the daughter of the late Dee and Wilma (Griffin) Denson, and has resided in the Davison area since 2001, spending most of her life in the Deckerville area. Eva enjoyed being around her family, and crocheting. She has crocheted many blankets and hats for many of the children and mothers in need around the area. Eva enjoyed her time in Bible Study and was a active member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She had worked many years at Deckerville Hospital and also was a dietitian at Autumnwood of Deckerville. Eva leaves to cherish her memory, children, Linda (Richard) Peters of Lake Orion, Cindy (Jim) Hayes of Otter Lake, Kim Collins of North Carolina, Doug Binder of Eastpointe, Dean (Teri) Binder of Deckerville, Debra Binder of Eastpointe and Ramona Harper of Lake Orion. She also leaves 21 grandchildren; 47 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by son, Johnnie Dee Hyslop; grandsons, Terrance Smith and Donald Mardlin, and her siblings. Share your condolences at: www.hansenfuneralhome.net
